UK has plenty of politicians who climbed the immigration ladder, then pulled it up behind them. Suella, Priti, Kemi. But Zia Yusuf takes it further. His parents came to the UK from Sri Lanka in the ’80s. Now their son isn’t just pulling up the ladder. He’s setting fire to it. h 428 views · 40 likes · 13 reposts · 2 replies Open on X →

Maureen has a toys-out-of-the-pram meltdown at the mere mention of Palestine. She refused to work with Maxine Peake and Miriam Margolyes for supporting Palestine. Now actors refuse to work with her, and they’re “cowardly”? Her boycott is “principle.” Theirs is “cowardice.” 🤨 h 9.2K views · 816 likes · 198 reposts · 66 replies Open on X →

People say Starmer was the worst PM. Not by a long stretch, not when we’ve had Johnson & Truss. But quitting as an MP says a lot. Politics was about power, not public service. When one ladder collapsed, he found another. If he cared about serving the public, he’d have stayed. 5.2K views · 113 likes · 19 reposts · 72 replies Open on X →

Another day, another Reform disaster. 😂 Dover: lost to the Greens. Billinge & Seneley Green: lost to Labour. Sycophants says: “Blame Restore!” Reality says: voters are starting to realise Reform are useless. Win somewhere fresh. Go to pot. Repeat. 🔄 231 views · 3 likes · 1 reposts · 0 replies Open on X →

@AmraWatson The 1% that pay 27% of the tax are the same 1% that own 70% of the wealth. So the 99% of us have to share just 30% of the wealth, BUT pay 73 % of the tax - right 5.1K views · 62 likes · 10 reposts · 14 replies Open on X →

@AmraWatson If the head of Tesco left tomorrow, would Tesco have to close down? If all the workers left Tesco tomorrow, would Tesco have to close down? Now tell me who the wealth creators are 9.7K views · 213 likes · 26 reposts · 63 replies Open on X →

Emma Barnett pushing an old myth- billionaires are wealth creators. That theory has been long debunked. Billionaires are not wealth creators they are wealth collectors. Nothing circulates. Nothing trickles-down. Billionaires are a failure of capitalism. https://t.co/JFKEweF1yp 542.8K views · 10.5K likes · 2.6K reposts · 648 replies Open on X →
