You’re saying there are no artificial “speedups” built in to make shooting harder, but then you explain that attempts can vary because of different animation transitions and energy levels.

@Beluba Mike, your consumers want to shoot by “feel” though. Are you making the product for yourself or your consumers? Everyone hated 2K25 and you’re literally bringing 25 back. There are definitely speed ups and slow downs. Take them out. No one enjoys them

There is an ideal release point in every jump shot (the visual cue), if you release the button at that point you will ALWAYS make the shot. That point is fixed and does not shift. The shifting that Labs is talking about from shot to shot is just a tiny amount of noise that comes

@NBACoachM @Beluba We probably explain it on the site better. We can get it to be almost the exact animation But we cant control where the ball releases from (left hip vs right hip)which changes the timing by a few milliseconds.which is basically nothing. But the device is precis

my advice is to try out different jumpers to see which ones you naturally can match the tempo consistently with. once you find that, just stick with it and get the reps in to perfect your timing. don't listen to the haters saying button is better. rhythm shooting has a higher

The Release Window shot attribute grade acts as a multiplier on your green window also. A+ will give you a 10% boost, F will give you a 10% penalty. The rest of the grades lerp between those two.
