Breaking Good News — in a 6-0 vote, the Nashville Airport Authority board has voted to approve renaming its airport after Dolly Parton.
They are working closely with her family to on the exact naming, which would
still need to be approved by the Federal Aviation Administration.

Eventually, after five days, US airspace opened up again and passengers finally got to go home, but what happened in Gander stayed with them forever.
To this day, some passengers are still in touch with the families who sheltered them.
