It’s much more structured, yes, because the writers, producers and show runners make most of the creative decisions based on the long range arc of the story, but I’ve managed some latitude when it comes to my style.
Films are much more the director’s domain.

Me too! I tried to convince the producers that, since you never saw my body, I could come back for Season 2. They didn’t go for it!

4 hours to apply, 3 hours to remove! Full torso, sleeves, gloves and a 2 piece head covering. All joined together.
I was sore as heck at the end of the day because I moved stiffly like an automaton! Cool stuff, though!

@LouDPhillips I loved this episode of The Outer Limits! Robo Cotter is kind of uncanny though 😅
The role looked like fun but I bet you spent an eternity in that makeup chair 😬 https://t.co/8E5kgswQ1t

@LouDPhillips Since you've directed both films & television, is TV very point-and-click compared to films, since the infrastructure is all already in place?

Loved the anthology stuff back in the day. Even more so because my acting appearances allowed me to direct episodes of The Twilight Zone and The Outer Limits.

@LouDPhillips I was so lucky to meet him in May of 2025 at Northern FanCon. Such a hilarious gem and sits in my top five of celebrity guests I’ve had the pleasure of working with. https://t.co/cifuRVQarE

Still hard to believe he’s gone. Was literally speaking about him a few days ago and had to remind myself of that sad fact.

@LouDPhillips In 1991, Lou Diamond Phillips and Esai Morales were abducted by aliens, taken to their planet, GleepGlorp, and made to fight to the death
But b/c they’re bomb-ass actors, they fooled the GleepGlorpians by playing dead, roundhouse kicked their Emperor, and escaped b

@LouDPhillips I'm sooooo tired of seeing this all over
And I don't get the point. The true stories you share publicly are already interesting and meaningful. No reason to make things up 🙁

Absolutely none of this is true, starting with the fact that my father is alive and well. If you’re going to fabricate clickbait stories, no matter how well intentioned, at least root them a little more closely to reality.
