@RutgersAltRoute Assignments and assessments are opportunities to "show what you know". It also helps me (the teacher) figure out what needs to be reviewed or expanded on. Ss appreciate getting to help the teacher! #TeacherEd #GrowthMindset 225 views · 18 likes · 2 reposts · 2 replies Open on X →

@RutgersAltRoute “You can’t build on a broken foundation” is one of the quotes that I use with my students to help them stay motivated and understand that there are no shortcuts to success. Another quote I use is “Don’t limit your challenges, challenge your limits.” 224 views · 25 likes · 5 reposts · 3 replies Open on X →

@RutgersAltRoute A3: I think being aware of how I approach situations will be helpful. How I use my words to express overcoming challenges is also something I can encourage and work on. I am also open to learning new strategies to take to my classroom to foster growth. #TeacherED 441 views · 23 likes · 2 reposts · 0 replies Open on X →

Framing, or how teachers introduce new concepts and tasks to students, is the focus of Q3. Framing can steer students to a fixed or growth mindset. It helps students feel free to be a work in progress as they learn. #TeacherEd #GrowthMindset https://t.co/UXq5X8xipf
