Tice's 3% figure is highly misleading. It is arrived at by including natural releases of CO2 (plants, soil, oceans) as well as human emissions. When challenged, Tice has started asking interviewers what percentage of carbon emissions are man-made, claiming it’s 3% (and then claiming it’s ‘embarrassing’ that we don’t know).
