@jordenvforeest Most of GMs do nothing to promote events so prize funds are getting worse and worse.
If all GMs would share an insta/fb post and 15min analysis for YT (about each game) you would have 10x prizes in 5 years.
FIDE won't do the job for you ;)

The FIDE Circuit seems to aggrevate the situation rather than helping, as it encourages top players to play these opens, thus giving sub-top players less of a chance at the prizes
