Not mentioned in the post but a really bizarre experience today was Astra finishing the entire task as instructed, and as i saw it finishing. It took another turn and changed my entire's codebase from using numbers in JavaScript to mean "seconds" to "millseconds". Still can't 28.1K views · 154 likes · 2 reposts · 5 replies Open on X →

Astra is really, really cool but I cannot current trust it for my present day engineering. At least until I have adjusted. Some random thoughts including code samples of what I recovered from my traces. https://t.co/FK0Ew2QXJh 326.2K views · 1.4K likes · 103 reposts · 78 replies Open on X →

If you look at a release like Astra I feel like you can only draw the conclusion that cool shit is happening. So far we haven't really slowed down with what these models do and I don't think it's going to stop right now. 13.5K views · 300 likes · 10 reposts · 9 replies Open on X →

@mitsuhiko the saddest part is i got like 4 google titan keys from google as part of some oss maintainer program, and they don't work with this openai thing because they're outdated and don't support whatever storage protocol they're using 😭 1.2K views · 2 likes · 0 reposts · 1 replies Open on X →

Web components are in such a sorry state still. Now would be the moment for them to shine with all the agents wanting to build UI. 8.8K views · 66 likes · 4 reposts · 5 replies Open on X →

I will say the pairing of mandatory passkey + yubikey as second factor is hilarious. 35.3K views · 135 likes · 2 reposts · 17 replies Open on X →

BTW. I'm in no way completely surprised about this. In fact, that general topic has been part of my talk at PyAI this year: https://t.co/ODOsAuLmaN 15.9K views · 29 likes · 2 reposts · 1 replies Open on X →

I had some vibes that Opus 4.8 was performing worse than older ones for some of uses that are off distribution and now I have the receipts. Latest Opus/Sonnet are causing tool invocation failures on Pi's edit tool when older ones did not! I wrote about it. https://t.co/96Qd8zfdVc 324.6K views · 836 likes · 72 reposts · 54 replies Open on X →
