Per the Air Force, there was no collision between Genesis II and Cosmos 1300. 0 views · 214 likes · 34 reposts · 6 replies Open on X →
Genesis I & II EOL decommissioning plan is to burn up on re-entry into the atmosphere. This situation is one example why what is launched into space is so important to our space future. 0 views · 115 likes · 9 reposts · 6 replies Open on X →
Anything we launch from here on out will have prop. capability. B330 has two dissimilar propulsion units, more than capable of performing end of life maneuvers. Destinations are not the future worry. They will be few and far between compared to the number of satellites. 0 views · 99 likes · 8 reposts · 4 replies Open on X →
@BigelowSpace That's a 1 in 20 chance, and people where freaking out when @SpaceX didn't make a big deal of a 1 in 50.000 chance of their #starlink colliding... 0 views · 25 likes · 0 reposts · 0 replies Open on X →
Future habitable space stations will face this reality and danger. This proliferation, if not controlled in number, could become very dangerous to human life in low Earth orbit. 0 views · 163 likes · 17 reposts · 12 replies Open on X →
Today, we were notified by the US Air Force that there is a 5.6% chance that Genesis II will collide with dead Russian satellite Cosmos 1300 in 15 hours. Although this is a relatively low probability, it brings to light that low Earth orbit is becoming increasingly more littered.

@BigelowSpace @NASA Wow! That's about the same size as the original TransHab that Johnson Space Center was developing before it was canceled. I know you folks licensed their tech (and greatly improved upon it) so, 20 years later, it's great to see that their initial efforts have 0 views · 15 likes · 1 reposts · 1 replies Open on X →
We have designed, developed, fabricated and successfully tested many full-scale B330 structures such as the one in this photo. At our large plant facility in N. Las Vegas, we have numerous full-scale B330 testing structures for @NASA to inspect, test and walk inside. 0 views · 156 likes · 12 reposts · 7 replies Open on X →
We are a proud partner in @NASA's NextSTEP program. This program fits well within our pre-established development path of B330 for commercial/exploration use. Due to the B330 being developed with private money we have had to maintain a high level of confidentiality. 0 views · 130 likes · 7 reposts · 1 replies Open on X →
Bigelow ground units: too many and too large to move to a @NASA facility. https://t.co/yY1SzQgZm0
