This "Great Awokening" began after 2010 (not in 2020!). And it was not "Woke 1" it was "Woke 4" -- there were three previous Awokenings in the 20th century.

I wrote about the Great Awokening, citing big shifts in white Democrats' answers to various GSS questions about race, back in March of 2019.
It's a mistake to attribute "woke 1" to Covid and Floyd even though 2020 was the apogee.
