I am a fan of batteries – and have written about non lithium storage using Air and iron. But the long duration question is not solved and given the current state of technology it would be foolish to rely on it in my opinion. The relentless boom in SUVs is only supported by those who drive them - and those who sell them them? They are an exemplar of the selfish Society. Sadly, Jaguar Land Rover factories are dotted across marginal constituencies in the West Midlands. We need say no more. 1.6K views · 14 likes · 1 reposts · 2 replies Open on X →
Simply reprehensible that the interests of car-makers, and sad inadequate people who wish to feel more powerful, should have led to the SUV arms race that kills and maims pedestrians and cyclists. Here is a dismal piece of #climate news from @guardian. In Japan’s Forests, bears last year killed 13 people. 14,000 bears were shot in return the report says. It seems they are seeking new sources of food because the heat has affected the beech nuts and acorns they usually eat. 1.8K views · 64 likes · 25 reposts · 7 replies Open on X →
