The post circulating on Reddit about an 81" Sony Rear Projection TV is completely fake. The images are all AI generated/edited; lots of visual artifacts everywhere. Don't believe everything you see on the internet. 12.3K views · 76 likes · 0 reposts · 2 replies Open on X →

What are the best couch party games on steam right now? Been having a blast with Ultimate Chicken Horse and Boomerang Fu, and want some more. 4.2K views · 35 likes · 0 reposts · 18 replies Open on X →

@ShankMods PCs give you the option to purchase from multiple different online providers that help keep prices low. A digital only PlayStation only has the PS store 18.9K views · 672 likes · 13 reposts · 8 replies Open on X →

@ShankMods I feel like this is a hot take, but back in the day installing games on PC was a pain in the ass. Console games just instantly worked. At some point downloading the game on PC just felt easier. 22K views · 483 likes · 5 reposts · 21 replies Open on X →

Why are we okay with no physical releases on PC, but not on console? I genuinely think discontinuing physical media is a very bad thing, but why is our outlook on it so different between PC and console? 812.7K views · 3.6K likes · 144 reposts · 2.1K replies Open on X →

@ShankMods @PCBWayOfficial They all look killer man and I love the design. And that clear is sweet AF!! 🤘🤘 I'm itching to do a horizontal portable Wii but haven't had the time to sit down and design it. 508 views · 1 likes · 0 reposts · 0 replies Open on X →

Honestly, they just asked for a pic and a tag. Instead of just that, I wanted to do a full review to add more nuance and info. I personally find more detailed posts like this more interesting and useful. Thanks for reading 1.3K views · 25 likes · 0 reposts · 1 replies Open on X →

And once again, full disclosure: -I designed the parts -I was gonna place this order anyway -They offered me store credit for 2 posts tagging them -I was not paid for this -They gave no talking points, and didn't tell me what to say -They did not review this post before posting 1.4K views · 24 likes · 0 reposts · 1 replies Open on X →

Summary? Solid bang for buck on both of these. I'll almost certainly be ordering more of these in the future. The biggest bummer was shipping time was substantially longer than estimated, mainly because of the other piece in this order. But that's a story for my next thread... ht

All in all, the clear print is great. Having a custom clear piece made for this price is pretty crazy. But Im late to the party on this one; its already become a go-to in the console modding scene. 696 views · 11 likes · 0 reposts · 1 replies Open on X →

Do note that since the surface varnish is a coating, it adds a tiny bit of thickness, and can affect tolerances. These white buttons slide in and out on an FDM and white resin print, but are friction fit on the transparent case, so sanding/adjustment will be needed. https://t.co/

The surface texture is very, very glossy. Layer lines are nowhere to be found or felt, except in deeper crevices where the surface spray couldn't reach. Because its clear though, any internal imperfections are visible; you can see some bubbles on the back case here https://t.co/v

The UTR-8100 Transparent clear resin print isn't just "kinda" clear, its like... glass clear. Its the same materials as their UTR-8100 translucent, but they spray it with some sort of surface varnish that fills in the surface gaps. The result is really impressive https://t.co/hG7

Bang for buck, the white resin is really good. Lots of creative options with dying too. Yet to be seen how it handles heat and mechanical stress, but thats beyond the scope of this post. Onto the Clear cases... 841 views · 13 likes · 0 reposts · 1 replies Open on X →

The visual finish on the white case is fantastic. Layer lines are nearly invisible, but on some faces can barely feel with a fingernail. The feel is fine, but the texture is a tad more matte than I prefer. If I made this into a portable, I would give it a once-over with 1000grit

We shall start with what I would have paid for these: Front White Case (UTR-8360): $2.49 Back White Case (UTR-8360): $4.85 Front Clear Case (UTR-8100): $9.71 Back Clear Case (UTR-8100): $19.40 Doesn't include shipping, tariff, etc. 1.4K views · 20 likes · 0 reposts · 1 replies Open on X →

I am working on a new Wii portable, and wanted to experiment with case materials. I was going to order what I wanted from @PCBWayOfficial, but they offered store credit to cover the cost if I make 2 posts tagging them. Here's a thread review of my experience ordering resin prints

I made the gamecube joycons we all wish existed. This isn't concept art, these are real and fully functional. https://t.co/266tiYmzsG
