We found her trapped in a fishing net. I paid $20 for her freedom and returned her to the sea where she belongs. 🐢🌊❤️

We just really need to stress the urgency of the issue with authorities, that these checkpoints need to be opened fast. For both humanitarian aid and animal aid.

We have also been told that on the Israeli side, already 60 bags of food have been donated and are waiting to come in once Kerem Shalom is opened.

WHATS THE CURRENT STATUS OF FOOD COMING IN? An Egyptian organization has already sent two pallets of animal food and medicine packages to Rafah, but there are thousands of trucks waiting to be inspected to eventually be let in. It takes weeks.

There has been an announcement that Kerem Shalom crossing would be opened on the Israeli side - this crossing has much bigger capacity than Rafah to let through many trucks. It hasn't been opened yet.

IS DONATING STILL USEFUL AT THE MOMENT? Donations are always welcome. We still need funds to try to buy more donkeys, and to purchase whatever is available to make sure the animals survive. If your donation is not used now, it can be used after the war to rebuild.

Paypal is registered in the name of ISHAKOV ROSHEL. We assure you our account has not been hacked, but the Paypal had to be registered in an Israeli name because Paypal is not provided as a service in Palestinian Territories. 100% of the money will reach us.

CAN WE DONATE? Yes, there are two donation links: Paypal and the Animals Australia urgent appeal. The donations made to both links will 100% reach us. Both links are fine – we do not have a preference.

Pet shops have also completely run out – the last months, we have been distributing food to pet owners to help them, but since we will soon run out of food for animals in our own care, we were forced to stop.

HOW CAN WE HELP? At this moment, the most urgent issue is the fact that animal food has not entered the Gaza Strip since the 9th of October.
