“Waymo nearly ran over a 2-year-old” is an irresponsible framing. The Waymo stopped 13 feet away. Two king size mattresses placed end-to-end fit between. If my kid fell in a crosswalk, I’d be terrified. I’d also be grateful the approaching car was a Waymo. https://t.co/p8dSeE6P 184.5K views · 2.5K likes · 54 reposts · 33 replies Open on X →

A father in Noe Valley says a Waymo robotaxi stopped within 13 feet of his two-year-old daughter when she fell in the crosswalk, nearly running her over, but Waymo claims the car wouldn’t have hit her. https://t.co/GcYB0wLGWa 684K views · 198 likes · 5 reposts · 129 replies Open on X →
