Firing Michael Carrick changes nothing. Signing or selling one player changes nothing.
Manchester United's problems are intrinsic, they are so deeply rooted after 21 years of Glazer rot. It is an unacceptable, horrendous, shameful performance, no doubt about it. This is the

Manchester United's shirt sleeve sponsorship deal with DXC Technology was worth £20m per season & this exceeds that, clearly after another summer tighter than we'd all like every penny adds up.
Arsenal's with Deel is worth £18m, Chelsea's with FPT is £17-£18m, City's with OKX is

In September 2023, Michael Oliver was paid to go the UAE by City's owners & was on the payroll in a league tied to them. He should never be in charge of games involving City.
There are 115 reasons why it is a conflict of interest.

I want to see Leny Yoro starting at CB vs Sabah on Thursday. Heading into his third season at Manchester United, the club having made a significant investment in him, he also deserves the chance to prove he can make an impact given a sustained run in the first team.

@AdamJoseph So the only one stating actual facts is a child? Whilst the United fan spouts multiple lies and tries throughout the entire discussion. Just because you make yourself sound intelligent, doesn’t mean you actually are. Stick your Bloomberg up your arse.

Luke's entire response in this clip was three lines: they've not been found guilty, wait for a conclusion, there shouldn't be implications. That's no defence, it's a child who can't participate in an adult's conversation.
“Wait for a conclusion” is a joke when 35 of the 115

Liverpool have been mostly meh, aside from the two brilliant moments from Cody Gakpo to create those goals for Alexander Isak. 0.66 xG, no big chances created.
They aren't in the same bracket with Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea & City. A class below, at least.

There's plenty of questions to be asked out of this, here's mine:
1. If Etihad, Etisalat, Aabar & other Abu Dhabi-linked sponsors paid the full value of their deals themselves, why have City never allowed regulators to see the sponsors' incoming funds for the relevant periods?

This is all publicly available information, by the way. If you enjoyed, please repost it. Tag a City fan in denial. Tag a friend who is sick of arguing with people who don't understand what's happening.
Hope people enjoyed it, though City fans won't.

🧵 THREAD: Manchester City, the charges, the evidence, & how justice was delayed.
Manchester City weren’t charged because rivals complained or because they 'spent big'. They were charged because evidence shows a decade-long system designed to hide owner funding, inflate revenue

We still haven't had a verdict in the 115 charges against City for (alleged) financial malfeasance. City are spending more money this winter, chasing another title. Ed and Adam pick up the story. @AdamJoseph
