The 1,500-year-old Sunken Palace, or Justinian’s Basilica Cistern (532 AD) which has 336 marble columns, fleeced from Old Rome. Can easily be mistaken for the dwarf city of Dwarrowdelf. Very cool! https://t.co/Qsna1yrzFD

Doesn’t need experts. The cost of building the average UK house has risen 50% in 5 years - half of which is tax and regulation. Strip those back, volumes will follow. 49K views · 548 likes · 129 reposts · 26 replies Open on X →

Sat in on the Sunday liturgy at St George in Fener this morning, seat of the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople. V humbling to see a a tradition that has kept going here without a break for four centuries. Grateful to have had the chance to experience it. https://t.co/mwAw
