✅ Better defenders
✅ A better 5th midfielder
✅ A better bench
✅ Have easier transfers
✅ More captaincy options

The key here was that I remained focused on the plan. Whilst I did also achieve captain returns during this time through Bruno, Saka, Gyokeres and Gabriel, who some teams could not have due to their Salah/Haaland ownership.

Haaland blanked only once in his opening 8 games, with 4 double digit hauls. Salah blanked once in his opening 5, but with relatively poor performances.
After these spells, Haaland went on to blank 5 times in the next 7 fixtures, and Salah the same.
