@KateBour The reaction is useful, but I wouldn’t wait for “wow” alone. If people don’t understand the idea, challenge it, or see something differently, you probably haven’t made the value clear enough yet. Before people buy the idea, they have to see it. 4 views · 0 likes · 0 reposts · 0 replies Open on X →

This copywriting book costs $500 on Amazon. And one lesson inside it has easily made me 1000x that. It’s Breakthrough Advertising by Eugene Schwartz. It was written wayyyy back in 1966, and introduced a concept I’ve been obsessed with ever since: Enter: “The mechanism” https:

@KateBour If the souls cannot connect, it's easier to say no. Your big idea is the "soul" of your message. 21 views · 0 likes · 0 reposts · 0 replies Open on X →

@KateBour The 2 reactions test different things. Pushback means you've taken a side. "Never thought of it that way" means you've found a gap. Nodding means you've said something everyone already believed, which feels best and does nothing. 11 views · 0 likes · 0 reposts · 0 replies Open on X →

If no pushes back on your big idea or says “wow, I never thought of it that way”… Keep iterating. It’s not ready yet. Today you’ve gotta earn people’s minds before you earn their dollars. 4.6K views · 30 likes · 3 reposts · 18 replies Open on X →

@KateBour Subject matter experts understand the value of their ideas. AI can't distill ideas by default because the tech is trained to be a generalist. 54 views · 2 likes · 0 reposts · 0 replies Open on X →

Personal brand gurus: “Create useful content.” You: Cool. Wtf does that mean though? A quick scroll through your feed shows what passes for “useful” these days. > Memes > Rags to riches tales > Performative vulnerability And its works. Sort of... Big reach. Lots of likes. But
