10 Years before, US interest rate 2%, Rupee Dollar Hedging cost 4%, so cost of money for FIIs is 6%, Indian markets used to give about 12%, so it was lucrative for FIIs to invest in India.
Now, US interest is 5%, Hedging 4%, so cost is 9%. On top of which FIIs have to pay 12.5%

But Global Markets are likely to fall tomorrow (as indicated by Week End US Futures) but our markets are closed.
Option premiums were very high due to holiday on Monday.
Interesting to see where markets are likely to open on

For GOD's sake, my Car should be delivered by tomorrow.
For one or the other reason, delivery is getting delayed.
Hope markets bottom out tomorrow once my Car is delivered.
GIFTNIFTY is down by more than 100 points.
