@Richards_Karin Dear Kevin, Karin was one of the original fintwits. She was a constant and always interesting, supportive and kind presence on this platform. I’m shocked to hear this and I’m so sorry for your loss. If it’s any comfort, she was a central character out here. My ver 8K views · 158 likes · 5 reposts · 0 replies Open on X →

Karin Richards, my dear wife of 38 years has sadly passed away, she had been ill for a very long time and fighting hard but unfortunately can fight no more. I am sure you will all miss her posts as will I. Her loving husband. Kevin Richards 156.2K views · 1.6K likes · 84 reposts · 103 replies Open on X →

Venezuela, Greenland, Iran – now Cuba. How long before one of these excursions backfires badly – with global implications? No wonder gold is at $4600. 15.6K views · 34 likes · 2 reposts · 0 replies Open on X →

Ag damn. Now I’ve had to sell Glencore at R102.50. If they merge with Rio Tinto it’s too much iron ore (for me). 50% of Rio’s revenue is iron ore, which is a commodity I do not like. China’s days of sucking up ore to build ghost cities and whatever, is long gone. 13.5K views · 93 likes · 7 reposts · 1 replies Open on X →

1/3 S&P500 Update. Remains in the 5th and final Elliott wave of a bull market that has endured since the Great Depression. A multi-generational supercycle is ending. Close to tagging the upper trendline. Note it could tag the line, retreat & tag again at higher level from below.
