“Nigel Farage tells BBC he 'wasn't listening' during foreign donor talks filmed undercover”
Well of course he wasn’t listening!
Seriously, who would?!!
Watch closely as this scandal is gradually but surely buried by the mainstream media. https://t.co/FEYakK6RRA

@anasaltikriti @andyburnham @ukhomeoffice Dear Anas, I'm so sorry that British ppl such as yourself are being stalked by terrorists from UAE. When I used to watch mainstream TV I heard UK cabinet regime politicians make speeches about their 100% commitment to tackling terrorism.

@andyburnham @ukhomeoffice @itvnews @RohitKachrooITV I'll be raising this with MPs and peers directly in the coming days, and I'll share what response, if any. Eleven days of silence is long enough. I don't intend to let this drop.

@andyburnham @ukhomeoffice @itvnews @RohitKachrooITV As Parliament returns today, MPs will debate plenty of foreign threats to Britain this week. I'm asking that this be one of them. If a close ally can allegedly target a British citizen for elimination and face no scrutiny for i

@andyburnham @ukhomeoffice @itvnews @RohitKachrooITV A foreign government has built relationships across our media, our Parliament and our political parties without ever being asked the questions we routinely ask of Russia, China or Iran.

@andyburnham @ukhomeoffice @itvnews @RohitKachrooITV This is why my letter to the Prime Minister and Home Secretary asked for one specific thing: an independent inquiry into what British authorities knew about my case in 2016, when they knew it, and why a decade of silence follow

@andyburnham @ukhomeoffice @itvnews @RohitKachrooITV Then look at who's advising Westminster on the UAE's behalf. Three members of the House of Lords hold paid roles at FGS Global, a firm registered under the Foreign Influence Registration Scheme as lobbying UK officials for the

@andyburnham @ukhomeoffice @itvnews @RohitKachrooITV And then there's Reform. In December 2023, Nigel Farage called the UAE "an absolute monarchy with an abysmal human rights record." By this year he was praising Abu Dhabi to a room of Emirati officials and backing the UAE's ban

@andyburnham @ukhomeoffice @itvnews @RohitKachrooITV But my case is one thread in a pattern that Parliament has had in front of it for years and mostly declined to pull on. Start with Downing Street itself. Citizen Lab confirmed that Pegasus spyware, tied to a UAE operator, infec

@andyburnham @ukhomeoffice I don't say this lightly, and I don't say it only for myself. For ten years I lived with a police warning that my life was at risk, with no explanation of why. It took a journalist's investigation, not my own government, to tell me the truth.

@andyburnham @ukhomeoffice Britain drew a hard line after Salisbury. A nerve agent on British soil against a foreign state's critic was treated, correctly, as an attack on British sovereignty itself, regardless of the relationship with Moscow.
I'm asking why an alleged assassin

Today Parliament comes back from recess. Eleven days ago I wrote to the PM Andy Burnham, and the Home Sec Shabana Mahmood about what ITV News uncovered: a UAE-funded operation that surveilled me, mapped my movements and, according to one witness, discussed ending my life. I've ht

You can dislike, distrust, disagree or even hate the #MuslimBrotherhood…but give this a thought…
When Netenyahu, Trump, the UAE regime and Zionists everywhere, all want them banned,
isn’t that an indication that they might actually be the good guys?

An excellent piece in @MiddleEastEye by @OborneTweets who strings the pieces of this sordid episode together, and asks crucial questions about the UAE's relationship with the UK.
The UAE plot to assassinate me didn't happen in isolation. There was a context, and Peter
