So with malice toward none and charity for all, let me say: let's try to keep the earth from overheating, and our country too. On we go 28.7K views · 1.1K likes · 65 reposts · 38 replies Open on X →

First of all, gratitude to so many here, who have been illuminating, entertaining and educational. I've enjoyed much of my time here since 2009, and I've done my best to be a good citizen of this space 170.2K views · 1.7K likes · 137 reposts · 55 replies Open on X →

I stayed on through the election in hopes I might do some good, but in truth it's long been time to go. I mistrust the owner and his role in our public life, and things have grown sad and harsh. (Today I recommended listening to Coltrane and the 1st response was 'eat shit loser') 15K views · 557 likes · 33 reposts · 14 replies Open on X →

I've had a like/hate relationship with Twitter, but it feels as if one of those emotions is growing stronger. So I'm glad that I have a Substack project, free for all to read (and very glad that some people pay the modest, voluntary fee to keep it going) https://t.co/VpmiMy9nxw 0 views · 714 likes · 156 reposts · 137 replies Open on X →
