My favorite was without a doubt the advanced packaging exhibit. Showing off EMIB and Foveros their chip packaging technology which even I wasn’t aware of how much of a game changer it was.
Foveros allows you to stack active silicon dies on top of each other with through silicon

Intel was early on photonics, back in 2010 they were doing 50 Gbps on a single lane with these little fibers. We still really can’t do 50G on a single lane without photonics which is crazy. https://t.co/NYCHPaUWle
