@damiankust Czasem jak patrzę na tak młodych ludzi, którzy umierają to siłą rzeczy zadaję sobie pytanie - dlaczego? Po ludzku nie znam odpowiedzi, ale wierzę, że dobry Bóg ją zna. Niech spoczywa w pokoju, niech wejdzie do domu Pana. Wieczny odpoczynek racz mu dać Panie.

LL. Daniel Elahi Galán 🇨🇴
Also made RG as LL this year, beating Royer in 5 (l. to Musetti). In New York he's famous for the win vs Tsitsipas in 2022, winning the first two sets 6-0 6-1. Clay specialist, but competent on hard. Collignon's a decent draw atm.
Next in line - Cazaux

LL. Billy Harris 🇬🇧
Played for a Top 100 debut multiple times this year in an amazing late-bloomer surge (got to #101), but now it looks complicated. 1st Slam MD outside Wimbledon (WCs in 2024-25). Tough draw vs FAA.
Next in line is either Cazaux/Galán, order of LL draw unknown

LL. Jaime Faria 🇵🇹
Qualified for AO and Wimbledon, played RG as a direct acceptance. 8-0 in Slam Q this year before losing to Blanchet, but this will let him pick up an appearance at all 4 GS. Jaime vs Jaume coming up, Munar's been a bit more tricky than before on hard this year

LL. James Duckworth 🇦🇺
10th US Open MD, 6th in a row. Interestingly never qualified but got in twice as LL. 2-9 record in New York MD, earning wins in 2016 (d. Haase) & 2022 (d. O'Connell). Shaky form was evident in qualifying, but Boyer is a very acceptable draw for the veteran

16. Ugo Blanchet 🇫🇷
Made Grand Slam MD debut as Q at RG this year, losing to Gaston in 5 sets. Quietly difficult section with Gojo/Popko/Faria, especially as today was Jaime's first loss in Slam Q this year (8-1).
I'll keep updating LLs when we know them (at least 3 coming up).

15. Dino Prižmić 🇭🇷
2023 RG junior champ qualifies for his 2nd Grand Slam main draw after 2024 AO (fantastic performance in a 4-set loss to Djokovic). Dino was injured a lot last year, but is now rising quickly with a 27-4 record since May, including 5 Challenger finals in a row

14. Jérôme Kym 🇨🇭
Riedi qualified 3h ago and here we have another Swiss talent who would have been Top 100 right now if injuries gave him a break. For now Grand Slam MD debut will do, had a painful loss in New York QR3 to Halys last year. Yibing Wu didn't know what hit him today

13. Shintaro Mochizuki 🇯🇵
Won Wimbledon juniors in 2019 and will now complete the set of appearing at every pro Slam. Beat Zeppieri from 0-2 in London this year for 1st Grand Slam MD win (l. to Khachanov in 5 despite 166-159 total points won). Top 100 push soon looking possible.

12. Zsombor Piros 🇭🇺
2017 AO junior champion finally set to make a Grand Slam MD debut. Missed RG Q this year as he fell outside Top 250, but quickly started winning enough to make sure he won't run into that issue for a while. Was 0-4 in GS QR3 before defeating Duckworth today.

11. Francesco Passaro 🇮🇹
Got into AO this year as LL (d. Dimitrov via RET, l. to Bonzi) before playing RG as a direct acceptance (l. to de Jong). Hard-court level always a bit of a guessing game for him, but saved the best for last this week with the strong QR3 display vs Rocha.

10. Jesper de Jong 🇳🇱
1st ATP Tour final in Båstad came a week too late for the main draw cut, but he makes it regardless. Has already played the other three Slams and got through the opening round every single time (4-4 record). Overcame some mental demons vs Mayot in QR2.

9. Coleman Wong 🇭🇰
2021 US Open (and 2022 AO) boys' doubles champion will be the first man representing Hong Kong in a Grand Slam main draw since 1954 Wimbledon! Results haven't been consistent, but he beat Shelton in Miami and GMP in Cincinnati this year. Set to make history.

8. Lloyd Harris 🇿🇦
2021 US Open quarterfinalist, barely been healthy the last few years. But he does bring it for the Slams - qualified at RG (l. to Rublev in R1), played Wimbledon on a PR (d. Bergs, l. to Rublev in R2). Was taking no prisoners after the QR1 battle with Evans.

7. Zachary Svajda 🇺🇸
Almost broke Top 100 last year, fell off the radar, now back playing the tennis of his life since the grass swing (25-5 with 2 CH titles). Got New York history with a memorable 5-setter vs Lorenzi in '19 (was 16 yo) and lone GS win over Cecchinato in '21.

6. Federico Agustín Gómez 🇦🇷
Overall a difficult season for Fede, who opened up on his mental health struggles. But Slams have been the saving grace as he first made RG R2 as LL (d. Kovacevic) and qualifies for US Open with an unreal win vs Grenier from 6-7(5) 0-4, 1 MP saved.

5. Jan-Lennard Struff 🇩🇪
No introductions needed. First time he gets through qualifying in New York, but it will be his 10th main draw appearance (best result was R3 in 2018 and 2020). Present form wasn't suggesting he would make it, what a great win over #1 seed Cazaux today.

4. Pablo Llamas Ruiz 🇪🇸
Becoming a Slam specialist, are we? Ended 2024 season in May and has been struggling with injuries since, but was a surprise RG qualifier (l. to Davidovich Fokina in R1). After retiring in his two most recent events, does it again in New York. So crafty.

3. Martin Damm 🇺🇸
His dad, Martin Damm Sr., won the 2006 US Open doubles title w/Paes. Rough time with injuries since last year, so making his first GS MD here is massive. As massive as his serve is (He's 203cm tall, funnily enough that's 40 more than his QR3 opponent, Shimizu).

2. Leandro Riedi 🇨🇭
RG 2020 junior finalist was heading for a Top 100 push last year, but ended his season at the US Open (two knee surgeries). Peaking at Slams since returning to action, qualifying for GS main draw debut at Wimbledon and now New York. Aggressive to the core.

Along with Gstaad SF an amazing summer for Nacho, who peaked at #9 in the juniors in 2022 and now reaches his first Grand Slam MD after starting to play in qualifying draws this season (lost Q1 in previous three)
