One more use for the links report: run it on your own pages. Broken links hide like needles in haystacks, and the HTTP status column surfaces all of them without clicking a single one.

The point isn't the extension. It's deciding what to attack before you burn a week writing.

A shocking number of pages ranking on page one have broken links, missing schema, or a title Google is cutting off.
Nobody checks, so nobody knows. Here's how to check any competitor page in under a minute:

The GLP-1 supplement play is one version of this.
A trend creates a new need, and it is almost always less crowded than the trend itself.
What's the secondary demand in your market that nobody is serving yet?
Curious if this holds outside consumer health.

@explodingtopics If your seed mostly funds Google and Meta, you didn't raise for product. You rented distribution.

Both halves connect:
Be early on the trend, and be known enough that people believe you when you're early.
If you only have the first one, you're doing free market research for whoever shows up next with an audience.

1. Build a reputation if you don't have one
2. Treat that reputation like gold
3. Have a content strategy in place
4. Create thought leadership internally
5. Get other people making content that references your brand
Not one line about what you're building.

His read on why founders get burned:
Most of the urgency you feel about AI was manufactured by someone selling you something on LinkedIn.
His team's rule cuts through all of it. If the output looks like AI, they don't ship it.

Here's the strange part.
You ask a guy who has built 21 companies for his founder advice and you expect to hear about product.
All five of his rules are about reputation.

Now the AI part, and it's not what you'd expect from someone running 21 companies.
He says generative AI made his team a million times more productive.
He also says 99% of what gets claimed about it online is hogwash.
Both, at the same time.

Here's what that looked like in practice.
He watched GLP-1 weight loss drugs climb. Your instinct there, and everyone else's, is to find a way into GLP-1.
He went the other direction. He asked what people already on those drugs would need next.

The answer was supplements that support someone through a GLP-1 journey.
He brought it to a supplement company already in his portfolio. They built products for that exact audience.
Those products still drive real revenue today.

That's the part you can steal.
The trend you can already see is crowded. The opening is the second-order need it creates.
Everyone was covering the drug. Almost nobody was covering the people taking it. Your market has a version of this right now.

His rule for picking what to build:
The term you want isn't the one with no demand. It's the one with no competition yet, because it hasn't grown long enough for anyone to notice.
Competition arrives after the curve. He gets in before it.

@joeyrahimi runs Aiken House, a venture studio in Pittsburgh. Same core team of eight for over ten years.
Founders hire him for one thing: to know what's hot before they do.
If you're guessing at what to build next, he's the guy people pay so they don't have to guess.

You raise a seed round and most of it ends up in Google and Meta's pockets.
That's not a hot take. It's from a founder who has built 21 companies and raised $234 million.
His entire studio exists to stop that from happening. Here's the model 🧵

One more number worth sitting with.
Even the weekly AI shoppers, the heaviest users, cap their comfort with autonomous spend at $50 or less more than half the time.
Adoption and trust are not moving at the same speed.

The barrier to agentic checkout was never going to be whether the model can complete an order correctly.
It's whether the person believes the order is being placed for them.

None of this means people want less AI in their shopping.
56% expect it to play a bigger role in 5 years, and just as many say it already makes shopping better.

So if AI is clearly useful, why won't people hand it a credit card?
Only 14% think AI shopping tools are built to serve consumers in the first place.

Most people think the tools exist to serve someone else.
28% say AI companies.
27% say brands and advertisers.
Barely anyone picks themselves.

This doesn't fade with experience either.
Among people who shop with AI every week, still only 24% think the tools are working in their favor.

And it's working. 92% say AI has at least possibly talked them into a purchase they wouldn't have made otherwise.
37% say it's happened many times.

So what are people actually doing with it?
Mostly research. 68% use AI to compare products, 55% use it to find the best price.
Not exactly reckless behavior.

This is from a survey of 1,009 US shoppers.
43% use AI to shop weekly or more.
This isn't a niche behavior anymore, it's a habit.

77% of people use AI to shop.
The average amount they'd let it spend on its own is $0.
If you think that's about AI accuracy, you're looking at the wrong number. 🧵
