@grumpygamer Can you provide examples ? I think the standard *desktop* Mastodon UI is dated but it sort of kind of feels like an older version of twitter, which I'm cool with. Don't know about mobile though, but I heard Tusky does a fine job for Android.

Mastodon is a train wreck. Someone needs to build a twitter clone… nothing fancy, just like twitter and allow you to grab your twitter handle. I know python, I'll see what I can whip up this weekend. According to Musk it's not that hard and doesn't take a lot of people.
