Since the press is so invested in professional conduct, will they be commenting on the NY Post publishing the most sexualized photos possible (often stolen) in order to egg on a mob of rape threats? Or are they too busy boosting it? https://t.co/a09ixCQTmx

When rightwing media fixated their covers on trans people, LGBTQ+ hate crimes skyrocketed and when rightwing media fixated on unhoused people, attacks on unhoused people skyrocketed, and now rightwing media fixates on Jews and everyone’s left wondering what’s going on.

The paid partnership content literally labels itself as paid partnership content and when people decide they wanna post stuff in support of the admin, they’re doing that for free.

I’m looking at legislation to require disclosures like “Paid for by the City of New York” and more transparency around the advertising firms and contracts behind this content.
Government can communicate.
But taxpayers have a right to know when they’re paying for the message. /

Holy shit. Cops had plenty of time to tell this guy 20 times to drop the knife, and “de-escalated” by saying “they could get him help” and in all that time, no taser, no mace, nothing.
But according to yall, they HAD to shoot IMMEDIATELY. 🤡🤡🤡🤡
Bootlicking melts your brain. http

Gunna die waiting for any mention on any first aid any of those cops rendered to anyone this guy had hurt, too.
Because despite also being trained in first aid, NYPD tends to also never deploy that training in situations where people need intervention prior to EMS arrival.

You morons are currently jerking off to a group of ROTC cadets who tackled & stabbed a mass shooter but in your universe, trained NYPD officers are not allowed to do close contact with armed individuals and any suggestion that they do that is wrong?? lmao ok!!!

Fascists trying to flood the mentions with stupid shit: NYPD is trained on disarming people with knives and continues to not use that training. People who refuse to drop it when directed are often NOT LUCID and don’t know what’s going on. That doesn’t grant you license to kill!

@taliaotg So glad my family is safer with one less violent criminal in the city. Thanks NYPD!

Does NYPD know how to disarm people without going straight to lethal force?
Follow-up question: Has anyone else noticed that NYPD consistently reacts to a person with a knife by shooting them??

Another hot tip: If you have more onions than you can cook with before they turn, chop em up & put em in a sandwich bag (lay flat!) or 1C takeout container & freeze em! Voila, a meal-sized amount of prechopped onions, which will cook faster & softer thanks to ✨turgidity✨

A hot tip: If you subscribe on Patreon for $1/mo you will inevitably forget what it’s for and freak out when it withdraws from your account so make a lil note (or, my personal favorite, subscribe for more than $1).
