Has your veg travelled further than you this summer? ☀️ ✈️
Loads of harvests are at their peak in the UK now - so why don’t our supermarket shelves reflect that? Imports are really important, but when it’s in season here, now, it should be on our shelves.

@Riverford @FarmersGuardian I'm a regular customer. I look forward to my weekly delivery of food so fresh it looks as though it was picked this morning. Ever grateful.

It’s #farm24 today. A chance to get a glimpse of farms around the UK for 24 hrs, and celebrate the amazing work our farmers do. Here’s to our own amazing farm teams, who work out in all weathers, picking, planting, weeding and always managing a smile! @FarmersGuardian https://t.c

Unfortunately, it's been the same with "politicians" too... https://t.co/FPtA3Ajwwx

@Riverford @Tesco @sainsburys @asda @Morrisons @AldiUK @LidlGB Really important to be honest about origins, to highlight genuinely British produce, and to offer more British varieties

Dear supermarkets, a plea for integrity…
We’ve written to the CEOs of the Big Six supermarkets @Tesco @sainsburys @asda @Morrisons @AldiUK & @LidlGB asking them to be honest about where their food comes from & #stopfarmwashing
