For nearly 2 decades in pro baseball, I’ve heard women don’t get enough coaching opportunities in the game. We just posted a hitting coach job. 200+ resumes in. Zero from women. So… where y’all at?👇 https://t.co/r8Rlv8pnfe 65.8K views · 198 likes · 28 reposts · 6 replies Open on X →

My career as a DI catcher was derailed by the yips- it was devastating at the time, but effected my coaching career positively… Being able to help someone through performance anxiety is one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done. @joshgessner - thx for sharing ✊🏼 69.7K views · 370 likes · 16 reposts · 2 replies Open on X →

Read this in 2010- When I first got in the game in 2012, one of the bosses was still preaching to me that you could tell if a guy would be a big leaguer by his face. Imagine… making big $ decisions using objective info 🤔 @SloanSportsConf thx 4 sharing https://t.co/groOylmk3P 10.5K views · 14 likes · 0 reposts · 1 replies Open on X →

Designing difficult training sessions with high failure rates is one of the best ways to close the gap between games and practices. Train realistically as much as possible, with as much failure as the athlete can emotionally tolerate. https://t.co/iivs1G7yHI
