@davemeltzerWON There is no excuse for them not to do this match again in AEW, they can substitute Adam Cole for Kenny or Hangman. They should go Sting/Flair and do the same match move for move. Would be awesome to see the main stream lose their minds over this.

Most of them wrote letters that were published over the years. Didn't list anyone who wouldn't publicly admit to it. So kind of proof there. You can apologize if you want to, but you won't most likely.

"Apologist" for AEW in 2020-2021, WWE in 2022-2024, CMLL in 2025, AEW & CMLL in 2026. What's the common thread. All the years each company was building and improving business. Exactly as I should be reporting. It's called learning what works in each year.

That was ten years ago, wow. Best PWG match I ever saw. Don't think I've seen a crowd reaction at a live show as big since that match. Last two minutes were unreal.

10 years ago today at BOLA, Will Ospreay, Ricochet & Matt Sydal defeated Young Bucks & Adam Cole in one of the best PWG matches of all-time!
A 6-MAN SPOTFEST CLASSIC.

@davemeltzerWON Dave:
I've heard multiple (well known) professional wrestlers that the goal is to sell tickets. Everything else works off of that. That's the business.

@davemeltzerWON Gotta love that the wrestlers he lists are all dead so they can’t call him out for lying about being a subscriber.
“Yeah, Spiros Arion was absolutely a wrestling observer subscriber”.

@davemeltzerWON The fact that you think you could improve my understanding of the business is both hilarious and insulting. Dave, you are a good writer that used to write a credible newsletter. Now you've become an apologist for one company with a skewed view of what good is.

@davemeltzerWON It’s like he typed something up and asked Grok to make it sound like Trump said. Throw in a tremendous, beautiful and bigly.

@davemeltzerWON No hate or insults but that is just a stupid statement. Your judgment is really clouded by your intense love for those two.

@davemeltzerWON You clearly lost your perspective, Dave be real !!! Omega vs will was some indie level shit. Omega beat the shit out of will for 18 minutes and will came back for 2 minutes and won. While Ric and steam went back and forth

I saw countless Flair-Steamboat matches. Seriously, Ospreay vs, Omega had more emotion than any Flair-Steamboat match and Flair-Steamboat was state of the art from 1977 to 1989.

Nope, I learn new things every day, study more than anyone and give the benefit of 55 years of writing and 40+ talking with the smartest talent and promoters. And the key lesson I was taught 43 years ago was to study Japan and you'll be five years ahead, 36 years ago is not to

Dave doesn’t share takes, he delivers sermons. The condescension is so baked in he can’t tell the difference between insight and talking down to everyone.
