One more thing & sorry to go on about this but I was just in Ireland & am returning soon so the local perspective. It's one country that has welcomed & celebrated US involvement for decades. Irish love US. And everyone knows reunification is inevitable. Good Friday Agreement.

Furthermore, I doubt any Indian would be opposed to Ireland reunification regardless of what US says. NI is first as well as last British colony in a matter of speaking. And Britain is itself officially okay with Ireland reunification if the island votes so in a referendum.
