The prompt is not the skill. Knowing what good looks like is the skill. The prompt just gives you more shots at getting there.

I gave Grok Bot a new job every day this week and looked through 407 public Bots.
The question I kept coming back to was simple. What can I hand a Bot and actually stop managing myself?
If you still don’t know what you’d give a Grok Bot to do, that’s what I’m covering today at

I made a Grok Bot that starts working after a post goes live.
I gave it @johnbai’s post about designing @bot. It collected 43 replies across the conversation, 11 quote posts, and 26 accounts that reposted it.
Inside all of that were 11 product questions and rough edges.

If Grok Bot looks interesting but you still don’t know what job you’d give one, this is for you.
I’ve spent the week giving Grok Bot new jobs and looking through 407 public Bots.
Tomorrow at 10 AM PT, I’ll show you which jobs seem worth handing off and what makes a Bot useful

Besides @SamAsante teasing me about @TypeaheadAI, we just came up with a dope experiment on X for something we built.
If you’re trying to manage multiple Macs at home or remotely, you’ll love this one. https://t.co/w7Dm7Cgo7f

I’ve been building with Grok @bot almost every day since launch.
Persistent agents change which product design questions matter.
What should they remember? When should they act? How should they show progress? When should they interrupt you? What makes one feel distinct from

There were way more good Bot ideas in these replies than I had codes for.
I got 100 more to send out.
These ones are $20 each. You can use one for Pro or $20 of on-demand usage.
If you replied to the original post, keep an eye on your DMs. I’m going back through the thread and

I’ve been giving Grok Bot a new job every day this week.
Friday at 10 AM PT, I’m doing Grok Bot 101.
I’ll show you the Bots I’ve built this week and what I learned from them. I’ll also share how I decide which jobs are worth turning into Bots.

@mvanhorn One of the fun parts of going through all these Grok Bots is finding people who clearly aren’t stopping at one.
Lauren has made a whole bunch already. Dr Eggbot is the one I’d start with.
Tell it the job you want a @bot to do. It asks a few questions, then helps you m

@mvanhorn Before you add a Bot, you should probably know what you’re adding.
Box Inspector takes a public https://t.co/NM0RFb3rwX link and shows you what the Bot actually contains, what it would bring onto your machine, and whether it looks safe to add.
It doesn’t add the Bot f

@hnshah @bot I have a calculus course for college students that I manage entirely by myself (@AsrarPSAU)
My problem is that a lot of students send messy photos of their work with questions about it, and I have to spend a lot of time trying to understand it and what exactly went w

I’ve been using @mvanhorn's last30days skill for a while.
One of the first things I did with Grok Bot was turn it into a Bot so my other Bots could use it for research too.
Now Matt made the real one.
Give it a topic and it’ll go figure out what people have actually been

Before you build more, figure out what has to be true for the idea to work.
Product Idea Stress Test does that with you.
It works through the assumptions, looks for evidence they hold up, and helps you figure out what to test next.

A pitch deck should make sense before anyone starts giving you advice on it.
That’s what Pitch Deck Coach does first.
It reads the whole deck, tells you what it thinks the company is and the story it heard, then helps you work through it.

You can package up how you work and hand it to someone else.
That feels like a much bigger deal than it sounds.
That’s what I like about Grok Bot. The good ones are specific enough that you know when to reach for them.
I’ll keep adding ones I like here as I make and find them.

I started making one Grok Bot a day and the list of Bots I want to make keeps getting longer.
So I guess this is bot weekend. Maybe bot week.
I have a few dozen $200 codes too. Each gets you an Ultra plan or $200 of on-demand usage.
What @bot would you make this week?
