College football isn’t just a sport. It’d the best soap opera in America. And Lane Kiffin is making a case as the main character. 😂

So in the span of one week, Lane Kiffin has:
- his daughter hard-launching with LSU’s star linebacker
- LSU on the schedule in a massive SEC showdown
- Sydney Thomas outing his “Roll Tide” DMs
- And himself telling a gambling influencer to “Take the over” 😭

Meanwhile, Lane’s personal life has come full circle.
After years apart, he reconciled with his ex-wife Layla, the mother of his three kids.
Which makes the timing of all these resurfaced DM stories even messier. https://t.co/tSgWGX4KPk

That screenshot sent the internet on fire.
Was it real? Fake? Nobody ever confirmed.
But by then, Lane Kiffin and the “Roll Tide Roll” DM were forever stamped into SEC internet lore. https://t.co/A7Sta8vH2P

But fans did some digging… and once the pieces came together, all signs pointed to Lane.
Then Sydney’s friend Maddy Muir posted a Snapchat showing a DM from Kiffin’s account that read:
“RTR.” (Roll Tide Roll) https://t.co/WKJKOaPg5c

This wasn’t the first time she hinted at it either.
On the ‘Like a Farmer’ podcast last year, she admitted an SEC coach had slid into her DMs - but wouldn’t say who.
The internet immediately assumed Nick Saban. https://t.co/PqGvsY0EFt

For context: Sydney is a proud Alabama alum.
And Lane was Alabama’s offensive coordinator under Nick Saban from 2014-2016.
So “Roll Tide” makes sense but also feels incredibly reckless… https://t.co/qx20lGWK8f

Her answer?
Lane Kiffin. 👀
On the “Inside: USA” podcast, she said: “I’d say Lane Kiffin… Slid in with ‘Roll Tide’ and he’s the coach of Ole Miss.”

Turns out that his daughter’s drama wasn’t even the wildest thing with Lane’s bane attached this week…
Because then came Sydney Thomas.
Yes, THAT Sydney Thomas revealed the most famous person to ever slide into her DMs. https://t.co/B8hBdZTG14

This certainly blurs the line of what a college coach can even say publicly in reference to sports betting…
But it’s Lane Kiffin and you KNOW he’s going to lean into the chaos.

This isn’t the first time Lane Kiffin has referenced sports betting this season…
He said, “Sorry to all the gamblers there at the end,” after Kentucky kicked a meaningless field goal at the end of the game to cover the +8.5 spread against Ole Miss 😂

But somehow Lane did improve the script 😂
In response to @MikeyOver1’s recap of Landry Kiffin’s relationship, Lane Kiffin said “Take the over.”
A head coach casually referencing a betting line is insane 💀 https://t.co/yIyRXcwfQu

It’s SEC Shakespeare.
A daughter publicly announcing her relationship with the rival right before her dad faces them… you seriously couldn’t script it any better if you tried. 😂 https://t.co/WuYB4vmyiY

The timing could not be any worse for Lane…
No. 13 Ole Miss is set to play No. 4 LSU this weekend in one of the biggest games on the SEC schedule.
So Lane’s daughter is dating a guy who will quite literally be trying to wreck her dad’s season on Saturday night 😭 https://t.co/a3

We’ll start with Lane’s daughter, Landry Kiffin.
This week she posted her hard launch with LSU’s star linebacker Whit Weeks.
Not a cryptic IG story. Not a soft launch. A full-blown announcement for everyone to see. 😬 https://t.co/EBkSTgFr7x

Lane Kiffin’s week just turned into peak SEC drama 😭
His daughter’s new boyfriend? An LSU linebacker he has to face on Saturday.
At the same time, Sydney Thomas just revealed he once slid into her DMs with “Roll Tide.” 💀
