IMO, the best model of how to do AI Safety correctly already exists in the privacy world. For example w/ Apple's Secure Enclave or in E2E encryption, e.g. Zuck can't read your Whatsapp chats even with a gun to his head. @vu0tran I don’t think you understand the risk. The very real risk is that AI will reach a point where nobody can contain it, even if they want to (including OAI and Anthropic etc). If OpenAI wanted to cripple an entire nation, they easily could today. All they’d have to do is remove alignment and unleash an agent swarm.
