This was clearly known to some extent.
Hyperliquid is not just an 11 man team anymore, there are now multiple large adjacent groups involved (Tradexyz, Dreamcash etc) so naturally things leak more easily, which means more pre-positioning.

Oil is 100% being manipulated.
Someone is clearly not letting it trade above $100, even with news around potential export bans.
But also price has barely moved lower, so the upward pressure is there.
Assuming an entry from $90s or lower, we'd still try ride this through $100,
