My stand-up special ENDS is coming out on @NetflixIsAJoke on September 10th! It's about family, immigration, marriage, history, politics & beans. You can watch it soon, unless you really took the boomer advice to heart & cancelled Netflix cos it costs the same as a house deposit

@AhirShah A wonderful tribute. I don't know if it would've been what Adam would've wanted but I am gently amused by the fact that such eloquence immediately triggers a pornbot flashing her bum and saying link in profile. https://t.co/1nCDgDvTe3

It’s a sunny spring afternoon in Soho, and I’m having a cider (his preferred pint) in the bar where, for years, we laughed and laughed and laughed and laughed. It is fucking revolting. I miss you, my friend

That’s how I remember him: walking away in sunshine, to go somewhere he didn’t really want to go. Somewhere I couldn’t go. I hope there’s champagne there

One of the last times I saw him - the actual him, and thinking about it, it may even have been the last time - was on a sunny spring afternoon in Soho. When he had to leave, he left with words to the effect of “I don’t really want to go, but there’s free champagne”

As I wiped away tears, before I was properly on my feet, someone thrust a flyer in my face and said “5 star comedy starting in 20 minutes?” I have been to hundreds of shows at the Edinburgh Fringe, and it was the most impeccable piece of comic timing I have ever witnessed

The almost-instant realisation was so jarring I immediately collapsed in a doorway, shaking and crying and muttering incomprehensible gibberish at my wife. It must have been quite frightening, but she held me for the couple minutes it took to me to compose myself

It was during the Edinburgh Fringe, and we’d just come out of a show at The Tron. The doppelgänger was a few yards to my right, looking at his phone. For a few milliseconds I thought “of course! It was a joke! The whole thing was a joke!”

A few months after he died, I saw him. It wasn’t really him, of course, but I’m telling you: this guy was the absolute spit. Words can’t do justice. If you cast him in a biopic, it’d be the easiest money costume, hair and makeup would ever make

A year ago today, after a short and unexpected illness, my friend Adam died. An absolute giant of a man, who had no business dying as young as he did. It’s odd to describe death as being “out of character”, but the man was so vividly alive he almost had an air of immortality

.@GoodwinMJ My mother, 66, has been British for 54 years. My sister, 40, and has been British for 34 years (previously American: ugh). My father, 73, remained Indian throughout. I have, naturally, killed them all. Please advise
