This proposal would help put the NAIA on a more level playing field with the perceived divisions above us and remove barriers that limit participation opportunities for student-athletes.
This isn't about increasing

At a time when small colleges are struggling with enrollment and retention, we should be doing everything possible to enhance the student-athlete experience.
If our own rules limit opportunities to compete, we have to ask a difficult question:
Why would students choose us? More

The NAIA has an opportunity to make a meaningful change for student-athletes and small colleges across the country.
Currently, we're the only college athletics division where scholarship limits can directly impact how many games a student-athlete is allowed to play.

As coaches, we're often forced to make difficult decisions based on financial aid limits and participation rules rather than what's best for the student-athlete experience.
We've had seniors who spent 4 years in our program, did everything the right way, and were limited to only
