It always baffles me how much debate "team Cap Vs team Iron Man" gets, when the movie itself doesn't give a shit about it. The movie very quickly becomes about Bucky, nobody here actually gives a shit about the accords, and the final fight is about an entirely different conflict

The initial homecoming scene had such an interesting dynamic between Scorpion vulture and Peter, really great Spider-Man stuff
A real shame that Mysterio and NWH killed the plans for this https://t.co/1wGlxvRcHw

So this post credit scene can't have actually happened during age of Ultron right? Even with Loki in charge Heimdall would have seen him kill all the Dwarves to make it
It goes Asgard blows up ➡️ makes the gauntlet ➡️ power stone ➡️ infinity war opening, right? https://t.co/Sn4J

Man of Tomorrow and up in the sky
The 20 issue run and Tom King mini give you a great feel of what the current status quo looks like
Up in the sky especially gets right to the point of what the character means https://t.co/Xi26xFZRFS

The Up up and away era
Two excellent runs by Geoff Johns and Kurt Busiek best place to read ongoing Superman, second favourite era after the Bronze age. Johns uses the core parts of the mythos while Busiek does smaller stuff. If you enjoy, it leads to the New Krypton storyline ht

Almost didn't put it here since i don't like it nearly as much as everyone else but I like John Henry Irons a lot
Y2k (city of tomorrow trade) and President Lex

Mysteries in love and Space/484
Both these issues are here because of how they show the progression of the romance. Loveness writes my favourite version of Lois falling in love with all of him, and i like the earth 2 wedding more then the 90s one https://t.co/MxaReVspNs

Tales of Bizarro world
Building off some of the issues from Superman adventures and Adventures of Superman here's some of my favourite Bizarro world stories. These are good and they emphasise that Superman is actually really funny as a character https://t.co/tZlKH7aMzT

Superman adventures
The tie in to the cartoon, the 66 issue run is one of the best Superman ongoings I've ever read, and I don't even care for the show all that much. Scott McCloud and Mark Millar in particular deliver stellar work here. https://t.co/eOq55gWoZe

Greg Pak wrote a lot of Superman during the new 52. , both these are largely standalone stories but as said before if you find yourself enjoying them then you should definitely revisit Pak and the new 52 as a whole later, or just keep reading now, it's a guide not an order ht

The Lexor Saga
What happens when Lex Luthor is a world's greatest hero? This storyline represents silver age Superman at his best, all the power in the world doesn't just solve his problems, some of the best Lex Luthor and the origins of his relationship with Brainiac https://t.c

Action comics 13
A spooky creative Phantom Zone story that gives you a great introduction to another element I won't spoil. I considered putting Morrisons whole run here but I see that as an intermediary read, but if you enjoyed this definitely loop back around later https://t.co

Superman 78
This follow up to the Richard Donner films uses those films as a foundation to tell what I think is the best version of Superman and Brainiacs first meeting, and it's a great introducing to Kandor. More then Just nostalgia bait https://t.co/cYzJO3bgAc

New 52 Vol 1 and WF 271
Superman/Batman is the most iconic comic friendship, if you want to see the birth of that dynamic I think both of these are great reads, and historically the team ups feel more like Superman books then Batman https://t.co/7DtLArAv2X

Kryptonite
An excellent early days story with gorgeous artwork by the late Tim Sale and Darwlyn Cooke. What does it mean to be vulnerable? Both physically and emotionally, Kryptonite explores this and shows why it's namesake is more then just a green rock
