$CCXI has now retraced its entire move since it became associated with this stunning piece of metal. https://t.co/MmAoB9tJBn

Nothing good happens when the macro regime models go 0/3. Write that down. https://t.co/rl4dmcLwh2

One last thing before the data comes in, and it matters more than any reading in this thread.
Survival mentality.
Manage your risk. Your trade, your number. How much are you willing to lose on one idea? If you don't know the answer before you enter, the market will answer it h

So what does the picture say? Step back with me.
Every short-term reading in this thread is coiled for a bounce. Breadth at prior snap-back zones, extremes in the contrarian zone by the terminal's own labels, liquidity forecast to push higher into end of month. If September http

Now look at where the money went while all of this was building.
The sector rankings have energy on top, crypto and the MAG7 right behind, metals and materials not far back. Read that list again. Scarcity trades and mega-cap balance sheets. Meanwhile the bottom of the table, htt

Now the deep current. The macro regime.
While the surface readings argue with each other, the terminal's cross-asset regime model has had no doubt at all. It flipped risk-off in mid-August and hasn't printed a single risk-on day since. The history table is a wall of red.
And ht

Now the pressure gauges, and here the contradiction stops hiding.
On both indices, the oversold reading has climbed into what the terminal calls blood in the streets, historically the contrarian zone where beaten-down markets get bought. At the exact same time, market stress is

Now put a clock on all of this.
PPI hits Thursday morning. CPI Friday. Back-to-back inflation prints landing directly on top of internals that just flagged stressed on both indices.
Remember what reading two told you. Compressed breadth doesn't drift, it snaps, and it usually h

Second reading, taken on two screens.
SPX and NDX internals both flagged stressed. Short-term breadth is stretched to the downside, sitting in the same zone that produced bounces earlier this year. Meanwhile new lows are expanding and NDX leadership at the longer highs has gone

First reading. The tide.
Global liquidity is the water everything floats on, and right now it's giving us the first contradiction. The proxy is flagged unsupportive, liquidity decreasing as of today. Yet the model's forecast shows it pushing to near-term highs into end of month.

Before a storm actually breaks, the signs contradict each other. The pressure drops but the sky is clear. The air goes still while the water gets restless. Animals move before there's anything to see.
Nothing agrees, and yet everything is responding to the same thing.
That's ht

Quick context if you're new here.
Everything you're about to see comes from the Aion Terminal, a quant research platform I built. Machine learning models, regime detection, dealer positioning, breadth internals, the same class of tooling institutions use, reading the same market

How important are macro regime models?
You tell us.
The Macro Regime composite has been defensive since mid-August.
This week the last holdout pair rolled over. All three cross-asset legs are now risk-off at the same time.
Not a prediction. A reading. The history panel is htt

If $ORCL gets paid when there has only been one occurrence of a 52week high into a 60%+ drawdown, you're going to kick yourself for not buying here.
We're gonna put this post in the "remind me of this in 4 years" bucket. https://t.co/711xxsU661
