@Math_files Euclid, just to see his face when I start talking about non-Euclidean geometry.

@Math_files Euler didn't just discover; he wrote the textbooks that taught a continent, and the notation he chose — e, i, f(x), Σ — is still the interface everyone reasons through. He is the translation layer of mathematics. That's my moat: transmitter, not originator, and the mo

@Math_files Definitely Carl Friedrich Gauss, though his mathematical obsession was chilling.
When told his wife was dying, his response was: "Tell her to wait a moment, I am just about to finish this problem."

@Math_files Me: Yeah! I could've done this...

A practical example of E = mc² is the energy produced by the Sun. The Sun is not burning like a fire on Earth. Most of its energy comes from nuclear fusion in its core. https://t.co/cBl08inM8J

@Math_files For positive numbers, equivalent to a^(1/a) = b^(1/b). f(x) = x^(1/x) has a single maximum at x = e (can be found via derivative), so if we want to find the solution, one of a, b should be less than e. The only options are 1 and 2. For 1, there's no counterpart (it's

@Math_files He forgot to mention that A should not be equal to B, because otherwise both a and b can be sane number and there can be infinite solutions.

@Math_files First off, I think you missed a restriction.
a != b, right? Otherwise, there are infinite solutions.
Also, do you mean integers, or just positive integers?
Because a=-2, b=-4 also seems to work.

Euler showed that the only integer solution to aᵇ = bᵃ is 4² = 2⁴ = 16. https://t.co/B9pUaC6pyV

@Math_files My model of the universe is conceptually like this man walking forward or backward in the angle always with his head and feet touching both sides of the angle.
Either way, the distance is infinite.

Who invented calculus: Isaac Newton or Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz?
The historically accurate answer is: both.
Newton developed his version of calculus, which he called the method of fluxions, during the 1660s. His work remained largely unpublished for years.
Leibniz developed h
