For whoever needs to hear this, the MI350P by AMD will not be a drop in alternative for the RTX PRO 6000 by Nvidia.
The reasons are pretty obvious when you look at it. There’s no onboard fans.

@MikeBradleyAI For these to be competitive, IMO, they should be priced to compete with DGX spark. Slower prefill, 50% more memory. I am keeping my Strix Halo until the RDNA 5 version with FP4 support lands.

Looks like the 192GB AMD Gorgon Halo is going to be priced somewhere around 7-8k USD.
At least the Minisforum version which tends to be in my experience the best of the AMD Strix Halo builders.
Bandwidth speed appears to not be a real jump at 273GB/s (same as DGX Spark). I

If you are sitting on solid hardware right now, don’t chase up to the latest big model. That capability will run down to your machine within the next 60 days. You don’t need to sell a kidney for an extra 200GB etc. Go get a beer and take a nap. Let the industry come to you. h
