The NCSC has published an advisory calling on all organisations that use operational technology (OT) to review their security. Network defenders are encouraged to act on the advice to bolster resilience and prepare for severe cyber threats. Read it here: https://t.co/sSMDy2AxsC
Photo of NCSC Director for National Resilience, Jonathon Ellison, alongside a quote: Recent disruptive activity against operational technology makes clear that the threat to UK networks is far from theoretical. It is part of a broader trend in targeting we are seeing across sectors. Our advice is clear: OT devices do not need to be directly exposed to the internet and so we urge organisations to ensure they are not - to limit opportunities for malicious activity. Against the backdrop of growing capability and geopolitical tensions, the urgency with which organisations need to act has never been more acute.
