1) Mayor's Office doesn't pay creators.
2) The way people get their news has changed! Government comms has to reflect that. Anything else would be irresponsible.

The "insurgent" left, led by the ancient, now-establishment Bernie, uses "establishment" as a slur against the party it wants to weaken and then control.
Most media only help this process by echoing their pejorative use of the term.
