Now imagine what it’s like to be @JohnCarreyrou. This was just a follow up piece to his incredible reporting that exposed the whole house of cards. 761 views · 18 likes · 0 reposts · 0 replies Open on X →
Just re-sharing for fun one of the extended emails I got from Theranos’ crisis comms firm in response to my reporting. This is what it is like to be a journalist. Hollowed out newsrooms battling PR firms, law firms & huge company budgets. https://t.co/icJ9ycjnkT

Totally incorrect, it wasn’t SaaS software. It was blood tests giving people medical results. Healthcare decision-making that impacts patients’ lives is based on that information. Not to mention how she and her colleagues treated anyone who called it out. 12.3K views · 133 likes · 2 reposts · 10 replies Open on X →
Your health plan's most important relationship isn't with you, or your employer, or even the government. It's with the hospital systems. @nickpreber found that out when he was building networks and took physician quality data to a few big academic medical centers. Watch the full

I had some interactions with Elizabeth Holmes while in healthcare media. My #1 flag is that every biotech founder I had ever met wanted to speak to the data. She was the first to totally shut down the question. Never wrote a positive Theranos story. Found it very unnerving. 41.4K views · 473 likes · 15 reposts · 16 replies Open on X →

Somewhere in your care there's a job that requires knowing all of it. Every specialist, every result, every medication. No one is assigned to it. Eric Larsen calls it immoral that it falls to the patient who is in pain. Watch / Listen: Spotify: https://t.co/V136PzN89E Apple: 3.1K views · 10 likes · 5 reposts · 2 replies Open on X →
@chrissyfarr A gap worth a line in the headwinds section: there is no published error data for AI-generated behavioural health notes anywhere. Ambient documentation already sells into the segment. 🚨Here it is. My 16-page opus about the behavioral health market in 2026. - What's driving growth? - Who are the market leaders? - Headwinds? - Growth strategies? & more I talked to a mix of payers, clinicians & operators. Hope it's useful! https://t.co/64k64sce08 147.2K views · 40 likes · 6 reposts · 7 replies Open on X →
@chrissyfarr @WilliamVanNoll @ZekeEmanuel @drjohnwhyte A physician who doesn’t care and a representative who doesn’t advocate. I think most of us practicing physicians will pass on what either one of these have to say. 394 views · 10 likes · 0 reposts · 0 replies Open on X →
@chrissyfarr @ZekeEmanuel @drjohnwhyte Maybe the AMA can now stop lobbying for caps on liability when doctors hurt or kill patients! 1.2K views · 4 likes · 0 reposts · 2 replies Open on X →
@chrissyfarr @ZekeEmanuel @drjohnwhyte In 2016, Zeke said by 2026 we won't need radiologists because of AI. Did you ask him why we should listen to him now when he got it so wrong before? 543 views · 7 likes · 0 reposts · 0 replies Open on X →
"Does Dr. Claude have malpractice insurance?" That's what one doctor said when an AI caught a diagnosis he'd missed after 48 tests. @ZekeEmanuel says autonomous AI already beats doctors at core tasks. AMA CEO @drjohnwhyte says the human stays in the loop. TIMESTAMPS: (00:00) htt
