Final Advice
Don’t try to learn everything at once.
Do this instead:
1. Build foundations
2. Get hands-on early
3. Pick a path
4. Stay consistent

STEP 6: DOCUMENT EVERYTHING
This changed everything for me.
• Post what you learn
• Share labs + lessons
• Build in public
That’s how:
• You retain knowledge
• You grow an audience
• Opportunities find you

STEP 5: LABS + HANDS-ON (MOST IMPORTANT)
This is where I actually leveled up.
Do:
• Set up a home lab (VMware / VirtualBox)
• Practice attacks in a controlled environment
• Simulate real scenarios
Examples (what I’ve done):
• Packet sniffing
• ARP spoofing (MITM)

IMPORTANT: Add Certifications Here
Once you’ve explored your path:
• Security+ -> solid foundation (good for ALL paths)
• Network+ -> if networking is weak
• Path-specific certs later (CySA+, eJPT, etc.)
Certs help you:
✅Get past HR filters
✅Structure your learning
