@dcrainmakerblog Do u mean like component equipment sponsors? Shimano for example have their sister brand products that I'm sure are used by the teams and they wouldn't buy from other brands like handlebars & shoes. Or do u mean like UCI mandated? 🤷🏽‍♂️ 1.7K views · 0 likes · 0 reposts · 0 replies Open on X →

Curiosity: Are there any examples in pro cycling today that *require* the purchase of a product from single manuf only, in order to race at UCI Pro levels? Can't think of any, but happy to be shown otherwise? Specifically being required to purchase from *only* single brand/model. 22K views · 26 likes · 0 reposts · 7 replies Open on X →

@dcrainmakerblog "2X more accurate" is a marketing number until somebody runs it through downtown glass canyons and a trail with tree cover. Appreciate that you actually try to break these instead of reading the spec sheet out loud. GPS accuracy is where these claims usually fall 314 views · 1 likes · 0 reposts · 0 replies Open on X →

Google has just released the Pixel Watch 5, and says it's 2X more accurate than the Apple Watch Ultra 3 & Garmin Fenix 8 Pro. So, I went to NYC to try and break some things. And everything else new in the Pixel Watch 5: https://t.co/95Zhmc7zNd https://t.co/uS5m03fyu9
