as Amca matures, I'm excited to start peeling back what we've been up to. New software, a LOT more hardcore engineering - some of which hasn't been done in decades, and hopefully happy customers. Exciting news coming over the next few months. More to follow soon... 21.9K views · 149 likes · 16 reposts · 13 replies Open on X →

Connor’s success as an investor speaks for itself. But what others don’t see is the way Connor supports and treats the founders he works with. His integrity, passion, and depth are second to none. I've been involved in "software-enabled manufacturing" since 2020. It's cool to see so much interest in the space, but there are also a ton of tourists. I think two things are true at once, even if founders and investors are reluctant to admit them: (1) Software alone is not 14.6K views · 125 likes · 11 reposts · 11 replies Open on X →

Something I seriously underestimated as a VC that I’m now seeing firsthand as a founder is how fast the ideas you start with evolve over time. Your pitch at Seed doesn’t mean much. Your team is everything. 13.8K views · 187 likes · 3 reposts · 14 replies Open on X →

Over the next 18 months, we’ll deliver hundreds of critical parts and subsystems and help prove that our nation can build faster than anyone has thought possible. If this excites you, come work with us at one of the most beautiful offices in America. https://t.co/EvxMKxurix

A year ago, we launched with our first factory acquisition. Today, Amca operates 7 factories nationwide, including our new rapid prototyping and testing HQ in El Segundo. Together, they deliver 50,000+ components each month to primes, Tier 1s, the Army, Navy, and Air Force. 3.2K views · 66 likes · 0 reposts · 1 replies Open on X →

Closing this gap as quickly as possible requires a unique combination of America’s storied past and its future. Amca rapidly develops new components where the country needs more sources of supply, then manufactures them in factories that have supported customers for decades. ht

The gap between what America needs and what it can produce across defense and aerospace is the largest in generations. We can no longer rely on a fragile, aging, and often wasteful supply base for critical components to keep systems like the F-35 fully prepared for conflict. 5.4K views · 76 likes · 3 reposts · 3 replies Open on X →

I'm excited to announce that @AmcaInc has raised a $300M Series B at a >$1B valuation, led by @CaffeinatedCap with major support from @LightspeedVP, @a16z, @Lux_Capital, and others. We're on a mission to reconstitute a supply chain that has too often put profit over country. ht
