I don’t know how nuclear command-and-control systems are designed across the world. Most of us do not, and much of that should rightly remain protected.
But I do know this: as AI systems become more capable, autonomous, connected, persuasive, and embedded into real-world

https://t.co/xzgU1jVBRh
a friend just started a big job and asked for some advice. so I braindumped a monologue about a super common failure mode I see with engineers and posted it here, hope it helps whoever it can. https://t.co/Rfko

Me: "Add retry logic to the web-hook handler."
Claude Code: (after 90 seconds of thinking)
"I've analysed the codebase and confirmed retry logic can indeed be added to the webhook handler. No changes made."
Me: 🧍

I love AI coding agents. But there’s one behaviour I can’t stand.
You ask Codex or Claude to make a change. It reads 12 files, writes a beautiful plan, and ends with: “Yes, this can be done. Deferring for later. No changes made.”
Deferring to whom? I’m literally right here.

Built in 2 hours last weekend.
This is what a side-project should feel like.

We were called to the company office.
I walked into EON IT Park.
Glass buildings.
Greenery.
A river behind it.
Something inside me said: “I want this.”

Pooled campus placement.
3 colleges.
CS, IT, ECE, E&TC.
Huge crowd.
Probability? Bleak.
I cleared aptitude.
Cleared C++... written on paper.

I got selected for on-site rounds.
CS/IT students were furious.
They thought I stole a seat.
They didn’t know...
...that seat had been mine for a decade.

I handled a US‑based resume company’s entire portal.
Built affiliate sites.
Saw $500 days.
And kept thinking: “Why isn’t everyone doing this?”
Turns out... not everyone sees systems.

Seniors introduced me to online forums.
DigitalPoint.
SEO.
Affiliate marketing.
Grey‑hat experiments.
I started offering PSD → HTML services.
I was earning while others were budgeting pocket money.

This is where something interesting happened.
I realized:
People will pay for attention.
People will pay for skills.
I had already tasted this online as a kid... winning contests, earning freebies.

But in class?
I was unstoppable.
C, C++, logic, systems...
I was helping classmates set up IDEs while they were still installing compilers.
I became “that computer guy” again.

School was… average for me.
I wasn’t a topper. I wasn’t bad either.
But when logic entered the room... Maths. Computers.
Something clicked.

I grew up in a township called Reliance Greens, Jamnagar.
This matters.
Not as a flex... as context.
Because where you grow up quietly shapes how your brain forms.

I didn’t crack JEE.
I didn’t get Computer Science.
I was a 60–80% student.
Yet I graduated with the highest CTC my college had ever seen.
This story doesn’t start in college.
It starts much earlier 🧵
