As a bonus. I went to a bar after baseball in South Philadelphia. Very friendly. Asked the barlady if the smoking was, strictly, legal. And to my surprise she produced the licence. You can still smoke in some bars in Pennsylvania. Because free. Conditions and paperwork are huge.

Another example. Crossing a road. From Baltimore, Washington DC is just 35 miles. Philadelphia is just 75 miles. Yet you cross the road very differently in the three cities. Downtown Philadelphia has no walk signs, pedestrians rule. Washington DC, the law rules. Baltimore, WTF?!

I thought I was free. I got big a iced tea in McDonald's in New York City. It had a paper straw. Gross. I thought I was free! Turns out New York City, just the city, requires paper straws by default. They must be able to offer you a plastic one, but cannot offer you one. https://
