Was in an existentialism class, a student asked the Prof what Sarte would think about the attack on the WTC. Unaware, thinking about '93, he said, perhaps, Sartre would think it justified. Two hours later I was sitting in an empty Bukowski's, with a beer, watching in disbelief. 4.1K views · 88 likes · 1 reposts · 4 replies Open on X →

Check out my essay on Fichte over at @aeonmag. My first piece of public philosophy. I offer a brief intro to Fichte and highlight some ideas that are, I think, worth developing more today. Many thanks to Nigel (@philosophybites) for his editorial support! https://t.co/Y3MKn5KemE 0 views · 577 likes · 109 reposts · 20 replies Open on X →
